The key to success of an organization, be it a business or a government is the people working in it. This is also the key to Bunyad's achievements. Not only it staff but  also the people that Bunyad works for are developed and trained with this thought. The various types of trainings that are carried out by Bunyad include teachers training, awareness raising, skill enhancement training, material development, reproductive health, capacity building of NGOs, social mobilization and community development training. The programme of human resource development focuses on upgrading human skills of the poor such as managerial and productive skills to enable them to make best use of available resources. During the period under report, there has also been particular focus on reviews and management of organizational systems & sub-systems as well as standards in relation to change processes and emerging needs of Bunyad. With the help of Aga Khan Foundation Pakistan, a participatory institutional capacity building exercise has been undertaken. In this context, documentation of various policies has already been completed and the management is in the process of developing policies and procedures relating to financial management. Internship >>
Another positive aspect of Bunyad's Human Resource and Organizational Development is the fact that Bunyad provides internships on regular basis to a number of students. In this manner, both the students and Bunyad get to benefit from each other. The students have theoretical knowledge and Bunyad provides them with the practical side of things. Students for internship come from institutions like Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Punjab University Department of Social Work, Institute of Administrative Sciences, Women Studies. etc.
