BUNYAD
was formed & registered in
1994. Its primary focus is literacy & non formal Education
of the underprivileged groups like child labour, girl,
children & young women the rural areas but it work with
public sector schools as well.
Since the problems of development are multidimensional & interrelated. Bunyad’s
approach is multi-sectoral wherein literacy/education
programmes are linked up with Health, Micro Credit, Skill
Training. believes in working in partnerships with local
communities, district/provincial and federal governments.
Its partners also include BERTIs community |

from local to international and philanthropists, the work
of the current area of Bunyad Operations and the work of
its partnerships extend across Lahore, Hafizabad,
Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Sargodha, Mandi Bahaud Din, Multan,
Bahawalpur, Liyah, MuzafarGarh, Khanawal, Sahiwal,
Rawalpindi, Khushab, Baluchistan (Pishin) and Jammu and
Kashmir (Bagh) |

girls become functional literate

that all must learn to read & write, especially Girls &
the marginalized, especially rural families
- To mobilize Community
to fight abject poverty by becoming literate, as the
first step to change
- To ensure that steps
are in place that the Learners have options for next
level of learning & skill's to improve their standard of
life
- To encourage the
communities, especially women, to continue the process
of development with learning, Health, Micro-Credit,
Skill Development, to move out of abject poverty with a
vision of social justice, equity and tolerance.
